Veterinary Clinical Advisor — POCUS

Hybrid · Some in-person Part-time · Flexible Paid consulting

Help shape the clinical evaluation, workflow and market introduction of a handheld veterinary point-of-care ultrasound platform. We are preparing to evaluate a portable handheld POCUS platform in real-world veterinary environments, and we are looking for a practicing veterinarian to work with us on a flexible consulting basis.

01

Clinical evaluation

Evaluate usability, image acquisition, portability, software experience and practical clinical utility.

02

Product & workflow

Advise on clinical workflow, product functionality, software experience and educational needs.

03

Go-to-market

Provide a veterinarian’s perspective on adoption, positioning, demonstrations and priority clinical segments.

What you’ll do

  • Clinical device evaluation — use and evaluate the handheld POCUS platform in appropriate veterinary settings; structured feedback on image acquisition, usability, workflow, portability and software experience.
  • Clinical workflow guidance — help identify where handheld POCUS realistically fits within general practice, emergency/urgent care, mobile practice and other point-of-care environments.
  • Veterinarian evaluation program — help design a practical evaluation program and, where appropriate, identify other veterinarians or practices interested in evaluating the technology.
  • Product & software feedback — veterinarian-level input on device functionality, software workflow, user experience and features that could improve clinical usefulness.
  • Education & training input — advise on educational materials, scanning guidance, demonstrations and training resources for veterinary professionals.
  • Clinical go-to-market guidance — a veterinarian’s perspective on priority segments, adoption barriers, positioning, evaluation and demonstration strategies, and effective ways to introduce new point-of-care technologies to veterinary practices.

Ideal background

  • Licensed, practicing veterinarian
  • Small-animal clinical experience
  • Interest in veterinary technology & diagnostics
  • Ultrasound / POCUS experience or strong interest
  • Comfortable providing candid feedback
  • Emergency, mobile or imaging experience is especially valuable

Engagement

A paid, flexible, part-time consulting opportunity — not a full-time position. Scope, time commitment and compensation are mutually agreed. Periodic in-person device evaluation and collaboration at our New Jersey location; some activities may be remote.

Potential future directions: product demonstrations & workshops, educational videos & training programs, veterinary conferences & industry events, and evaluation of additional point-of-care technologies.

We are looking for an independent clinical voice. The objective is not simply to endorse a product — we want a veterinarian willing to evaluate it critically, tell us what works, tell us what does not, and help us understand what would make the technology genuinely useful to veterinary professionals.
